A lot has been said about the law of attraction. My take it is about your intention. Give out your thoughts for what you are aiming for to the universe. Then keep focusing on that daily. Use written goals or visuals to keep it at the forefront. When you get down or give out negative thoughts this counteracts against your intentions. So stop and delete the negative and get back to positive.
However remember it is not about being selfish. It is about having gratitude - do a gratitude list weekly and being good to others. Also give and help others as much as you can in anyway you can. If you just smile at everyone you meet it makes a difference. You will be surprised about what you get back.
